There’s something absolutely irresistible about a great barbecue. It’s no surprise that barbecues are becoming more and more popular and we think they’re just brilliant for weddings. Our barbecue options really are something special so why not include the best barbecue ever in your best ever day?

We’re big fans of a barbecue here at Galloping Gourmet so you’ll find a fantastic barbecue on our Casual Dining Package. This is a great option for a laidback wedding breakfast and you’ll be absolutely spoilt for choice when you see the selection of food on offer. Your barbecue meal will include beef burgers, a selection of sausages and mustard and thyme marinated chicken kebabs alongside a whole host of side dishes. New potato salad with minted cream mayo and spring onions, Greek salad with feta cheese and extra virgin olive oil will all be on offer. You’ll also be able to enjoy fragrant spiced couscous, crisp cos lettuce with a Caesar dressing and shaved parmesan plus wild rocket and herb salad AND grilled corn on the cob. You might need to remind your guests to leave some room for dessert!

A barbecue for your evening food is the perfect way to treat your guests on your wedding day

Barbecue is also an excellent choice for your evening food. You could choose a firepit barbecue where everything is cooked and served straight from the charcoal barbecue. You’ll be able to enjoy grilled chicken kebabs with salsa verde, beef burgers grilled to your liking and a selection of sausages. Everything is served in fresh warm rolls with a choice of mustards, pickles and mayo.

Our talented chefs will fire up the barbecue and serve up the most amazing evening food to help keep the festivities going

For a taste of the States, choose our American barbecue. The meats here are all marinated, smoked and slow cooked for that iconic flavour. Smoked barbecue brisket and slow braised pork shoulder are carved for your guests, straight from the barbecue to order and are served in flat breads and wraps. Our American barbecue is served with US classics such as coleslaw, Asian slaw, sliced gherkins, French’s mustard, mayo, barbecue sauce and those all-important pickled chillies.

From delicious burgers and hot dogs to succulent kebabs, you’ll have plenty to choose from with an evening barbecue

If you want your evening food to really have the wow-factor, one of our famous spit roasts is a must-have. We love to prepare these in front of your guests and it’s a great opportunity for everyone to meet our chefs and enjoy the theatre and social side of food alongside some delicious treats.

A spit roast will definitely have the wow factor and bring a certain amount of theatre to your wedding reception

You can choose either spit-roasted peri-peri chicken with wraps and coleslaw or whole spit-roasted pig with crackling, all served with crusty rolls, stuffing and tangy apple sauce. Alternatively, you could opt for a leg of lamb, again carved from the spit for your guests, served with crusty rolls, mint sauce and redcurrant jelly.

There nothing like cooking over hot coals for that authentic taste of the summer

We’ve even got a great selection of drinks that complement the smoky, rich flavours of the barbecue. Our beer and bubble drums are perfect and these drums of beer and mini bottles of Prosecco are great to enjoy at any time during your day. We can also offer a range of bottled ciders – just speak to your Events Team.

There’s no better accompaniment to a barbecue than an ice-cold beer, so why not arrange for a beer drum on your wedding day too?
