Natalie and Stephen’s Stunning Spring Wedding at Wasing Park

The stunnning Garden Room is perfect for a wedding ceremony indoors at Wasing Park.

With their heart set on a spring wedding, Natalie and Stephen wanted to find the perfect venue that looked great whatever the weather. With a growing guest list, the couple also needed a setting with plenty of space and ample accommodation too. Last, but not least, Natalie and Stephen’s venue had to provide that party vibe for a fun and fabulous day of celebrations.

They found just what they were looking for in Wasing Park; a breathtaking all-in-one wedding venue in Berkshire. It combined vintage with modern for a striking wedding style and provided both an indoor and outdoor ceremony setting, as well as a religious ceremony at the on-site church. “There was so much flexibility – we knew we’d have a great day no matter what the weather,” says Natalie. Wasing Park also included the extensive accommodation the couple was looking for, allowing guests to party into the early hours and dine together the next morning.

Fantastic Wedding Food and Drink

It wasn’t just the impressive setting that Natalie and Stephen got to enjoy on their special day, they also indulged in the most amazing wedding food and drink provided by the expert Galloping Gourmet on-site team.

After they’d exchanged their vows, the couple shared a drinks reception with their guests which included Prosecco, sparkling white peach sangria, elderflower sparkler and big jugs of beer. They enjoyed a range of delicious canapés too, which would whet everyone’s appetites for the mouth-watering wedding breakfast that was to come.

The couple and their guests made their way into the Castle Barn to tuck into a feast that included confit pork spring roll to start, a main course of fillet steak with dauphinoise potatoes and green peppercorn sauce, and a delectable dessert of vanilla cheesecake with raspberry coulis. Natalie and Stephen kept the drinks flowing with one of Galloping Gourmet’s renowned beer drum packages, which went down a treat with the guests!

When it came to the evening reception, the happy couple treated their guests to some stunning spicy chicken noodles, cooked ‘street food’ style in a huge wok outside. It certainly created a spectacle and was incredibly well received.
